Arch Linux Server Arch Linux is a Linux distribution gaining in popularity due to it's KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) philosophy, speed and rolling-release update methods. It has become a popular desktop distribution among users who are willing to devote time to configuring and maintaining their computer system.The KISS philosophy and speed make it ideal for use in server environments, however the rolling-release system make it potentially unstable meaning administrators often have to spend more time maintaining the system during upgrade cycles compared to other distributions which do not use the rolling-release update model (such as Debian, RedHat or CentOS).
