Actually, Chitwanix OS is a customized operating system derived from the Linux Mint distribution, which is based on Ubuntu. It is designed for new and experienced users alike, but its main target is the Nepali Linux community. It includes lots of free software, which can be used as alternatives to popular apps found in Windows or Mac OS X operating systems. The codename of this first version is Kaade Vyakur (Spiny Babbler).
