DVDRipper is a basic GUI written for Mencoder. DVDRipper is a basic GUI written for Mencoder. DVDRipper will rip any DVD to DVD, DivX, SVCD, KVCD, or VCD.DVDRipper is a linux utility written in java to rip any dvd to dvd, divx, vcd, kvcd, or svcd. It does all it's encoding with mencoder (packaged with mplayer) and will eventually be a complete mencoder gui. 6 releases have been made.Requirements:· mencoderWhat's New in This Release:· There was an error in the Quality Control bar, which has been fixed.· Ripping to DivX used the MPEG4 codec, which is not compatible with most DVD players.· This has been fixed as well, and DVDs ripped to DivX will now play in most DVD players.· This release has been more thoroughly tested.
