Enc2ly Description
Enc2ly is an open source, easy-to-use and small command-line software that lets users to extract musical information from an Encore binary file (.enc) and outputted to a Lilypond text file (.ly). In other words, Enc2ly will practically transform the scores written in the GVOX’s Encore application into a text file that’s compatible with the Lilypond application. An actual demo is provided on the project’s homepage. Lilypond is an open source and popular music engraving software, and Encore is a powerful music notation application. Enc2ly is compatible only with POSIX (GNU/Linux) operating systems.
