It is extensible through Plugins and fully themeable.Foopanel differs from the XFCE's panel (and also by the GNOME panel) because: it is written in Python, a great and powerful interpreted language that make it very easy to write plugins: these do not need any particular compilation or installation, they are plain text files that must be placed in the right directory.Nothing more to do.
