Movic project is a front-end for ffmpeg which converts video files to the formats supported by mobile devices.Installed version of ffmpeg should support the input file's format and these output formats:Format Audio Codec Video Codec------------------------------------------------------MPEG-4 xvid(mpeg-4) aac3GPP h263 amr_nbmovic reads the formats from XML files( $(datadir)/mobile-video-converter/formats.xmland $HOME/.movic.xml ). Currently only few formats are available so if the formats you want is not included, create a file named .movic.xml, add the formats to it(see formats.xml and follow its syntax) and put it in your home directory. movic will automaticaly reads the file and adds the included formats to the list.Requirements:· GTK+ version 2.2.x· gtkmm-2.4-dev >=2.8.8· libxml++-2.6-dev >=2.14.0· ffmpeg svn(compiled with mpeg-4, acc, h263, amr_nb support)Build & (un)installbuild:$ ./configure$ makeinstall:# make installuninstall:# make uninstallWhat's New in This Release:· Automatically Calculate and add padding when converting from 16:9 to 4:3 (or when input aspect > output aspect)· Automatically Detect input file formats, codecs, ...
