MuseScore is a graphical WYSIWYG music score typesetter. MuseScore is a graphical WYSIWYG music score typesetter. It uses a TrueType music font derived from the lilypond project feta fonts. Notes are entered on an "virtual note sheet". When you enter the notes, the score is immediately reformatted.Requirements:· qt 4.0.1 or newer· MuseScore does _not_ compile with older versions.· Precompiled packages are often split into "runtime package" and "development package". You need to install both packages.· a recent X11 with freetype2 support and render extension (which gives antialiased screen fonts)· JACK audio server· ALSA Version 1.0 or newer; this is only used for midi keyboard entry· fluidsynth; you also need a decent sound font· gcc 3.3.x or newer· (Version 3.4 recommended, configure with --enable-pch to enable precompiled heades which reduces compile time by 70%)· NOTE: You _must_ compile MuseScore with the same compiler you used to compile QT. The script plugin interface has now bindings to the whole qt library. New score elements are glissando and tremolo symbols between notes. Tuplet types are extended and can now contain notes and rests of different len.
