NWTool Description

NWTool is an extension which adds logging, keyboard shortcuts for some buttons, weapon remembering on reload, and more. NWTool is an extension which adds logging, keyboard shortcuts for some buttons, weapon remembering on reload, and more.This extension's main features are optionally logging all messages to a html log file (each character gets a different file), re-selecting your last weapon if you have to reload it, selecting a new copy of a disposable weapon after using one (if any remain), adding keyboard shortcuts for some frequently-used buttons (including, but not necessarily limited to, attack and search), and a few other features too (most of which default to being off). See the features list for a list of features with more detail. To toggle options in NWTool, go to Tools->Extensions in Firefox, find 'nwtool' in the list of extensions, click 'nwtool', and then click the Options button. To set the key shortcuts (or see what the defaults are without needing to look in features.html), go to 'Tools->NWTool->Set keys' in Firefox. This extension requires Firefox 1.5.* or 2.0.*, as those are the only versions I have tested it with (I recommend Firefox 2.0 rather than 1.5). If you want to use it with a newer alpha, there's some documentation on the Firefox site about overriding version limits on extensions. If you are using it on a newer Firefox version, let me know if it works. (NWTool will not work on Firefox 1.0.*)Here are some key features of "NWTool":· Optional message logging (On by default).· Optional coordinates + location in logs (On by default).· Open a character's log while logged in.· Optionally remembers your last target and weapon.· Optionally hide full health images. · Keyboard shortcuts for: search, attack, and hide, among others.· Shortcut keys can be changed.· Shortcut keys are actually disabled when you switch to a non-NW tab, and enabled when you switch back.· When you hit on the 'set keys' page, it should warn you if any of your keys are already being used by something else· If you set a key to nothing, it will be disabled.· (Optional) black color scheme override for NWWhat's New in This Release:· Bug fix for a mistake which broke the set keys dialog in 1.1.9.
