pam_lirc Description

A PAM authentication module pam_lirc is a PAM authentication module that lets you type your password on a remote control.This might be usable with KDMs default user features to log in without touching keyboard or mouse.Compilation && InstallationOn Ubuntu/Debian, you need at least the following packages to compile: libpam0g-dev liblircclient0-devIf you have everything you need for compilation, type: makeIf that goes well, become root and run: make installThis will install the module pam_lirc.so to /lib/security/. What's New in This Release: · GDM login was tested and works now; many similar service are expected to work too. · Some memory leaks were fixed. · LIRC config files are provided for mceusb2 and imon-pad, and documentation was added on how to write a standard config file manually.
