Booting from the Live CD, based on SLAX, starts a GNU/Linux operating system with several software development tools and scientific computation packages pre-installed.Put the CD in the drive and reboot the machine. Follow the instructions displayed to start the graphics mode. Hard disk of your PC is not used by default but it can be enabled for saving experimental data.If you have the Phoenix Interface hardware connected, you can run the phoenix programs from the main menu. You can also write and run your own programs. Compilers and graphics libraries required for developing programs are part of the CD. It is also possible to browse this CD by opening the file 'index.html'.
