The GNUmed project builds an open source Electronic Medical Record The GNUmed project builds an open source Electronic Medical Record. It is developed by a handful of medical doctors and programmers from all over the world. GNUmed EMR may be used by anyone documenting the health of patients, including but not limited to doctors, occupational therapists, physical therapists, ...Products such as the Alluro line are based on the free and open source software GNUmed. HILBROS is actively supporting the Free software movement by dedicating financial and human resources to the development of GNUmed. GNUmed has been and will be a solid basis for Alluro. We are proud to stand on the shoulders of giants being able to supply the medical community with a state of the art medical practice software. In the spirit of Free Software all improvements to the GPL licensed GNUmed and GNotary codebase by HILBROS's developers are made available to the GNUmed project and integrated back into the GNUmed and GNotary source code as the project developers see fit. Requirements: · Python · PostgreSQL What's New in This Release: · A report generator to visualize query results with gnuplot has been added. · Exception handling has been improved. · The Snellen Chart has been reactivated. · KVK handling has officially been included. · More hooks and an improved example hook script were added. · Demographics handling has been extended to now really support multiple names, addresses, comm channels, and external IDs. · Furthermore, there are lots of GUI-accessible configuration options that were always there in the backend but didn't have a frontend to them. · File format handling in document management has seen improvements.
