A simple Mac app that extracts members from .deb archives. MacDeb is a simple open source utility to extract members from Debian (.deb) archives, as defined by file format 2.0 or later. MacDeb utility was written in order to meet the standards of convenience and inter-platform support people should expect from fringe operating systems.MacDeb can actually prove quite useful both for dual-booting Linux/MacOS users and for getting individual files from downloaded archives.To take full advantage of MacDeb, you will probably need some third-party utility to decompress the gzipped tar archives since this feature is not yet implemented in MacDeb.
