Camino script for opening a PDF/image using its default application View PDF/Image in Default Application is a free Camino script that will allow you to easily move PDF and image content from Camino to the default applications for those kinds of files, without going through a save dialog or having to delete the file from your Downloads folder when you're done viewing it. The PDF or image file must be displayed in Camino's current tab, or the URL that points to the file must be on the clipboard. Loading a PDF file in Camino requires a third-party plug-in; to load a remote image file, right-click on the image and choose "View Image" from the contextual menu. Alternatively, you can right-click on a link to a PDF and choose "Copy Link Location", or right-click on an image and choose "Copy Image Location" from the contextual menu. Then run the script, which will download the file to a temporary folder (ie. a hidden folder that is regularly purged by the system) and open it. If you decide you want to keep the file, use the Save As... function from within the application to move it to an accessible location.InstallationUnzip and move the script file(s) to the path ~/Library/Scripts/Applications/Camino/ where the tilde (~) represents your home folder, creating any subfolders that don't already exist. The script will appear under a "Camino Scripts" heading in your system-wide Script menu when Camino is the frontmost application. Place script on the Camino toolbar by dragging it from the "Customize Toolbar" drop-down sheet. Requirements: · Camino 1.6 or later
