THE AMERICAN WOMEN'S GROUP IN PARIS was founded in 1949 as an outgrowth of the pre-war American Women's Club. It was organized as an association to foster and encourage social, cultural, and educational activities among American women in France and to assist in furthering Franco American relations. We are an organization of English-speaking women from all parts of the U.S. as well as from the rest of the world.
