This booklet gives information on alcohol, amphetamines, cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy, heroin, LSD and solvents, and lists the methods of use, effects and problems associated with each substance. HIT was established in 1985 to reduce drug-related harm and set up one of the world’s first HIV prevention projects for people who use drugs. It is one of the leading agencies in the world dealing with education, information and training about legal and illegal drugs.
