10SCAPE Network Description

10SCAPE Network is a full-featured network mapping program designed to help you create detailed network diagrams. The software enables you to create maps for large networks and export them to Excel. The network can include ISPs, network devices, physical and virtual servers and storage devices, as well as telecommunications and peripheral devices. Once you add a new network item, it will automatically appear on the network map, together with the corresponding icon. You can set physical or communication connections between your devices, group them and manage multiple locations worldwide. 10SCAPE NETWORK supports importing data from spreadsheets and exporting the inventory and network connections. It is a complete solution for managing network inventory and creating complex network maps. Main features: Server Virtualization: 10SCAPE Network enables you to depict many virtual servers running within a single physical host or within a cluster of physical servers. With more than half of all IT assets becoming virtualized, accurately visualizing the virtual world and in particular how it connects with the real world has become critical. 10SCAPE now supports accurately visualizing VMWare vCenter Groups, Clusters, Virtual Switches, and Virtual Networking. Virtual Networking: With the addition of Virtual Switches, 10SCAPE Network can now show the inner working of virtual networking and can accurately depict interconnections between virtual machines and virtual switches. 10SCAPE Network also helps clearly depict the physical network adapters from which virtual switches may communicate to and from the real network. Wide Range of Network Devices: 10SCAPE Network supports icons for all commonly used network device types including - appliances, bridges, broadband routers, cache, desktops/laptops, firewalls, hubs, load balancers, PBX, PDAs, phones, power devices, printers, routers, security devices, switches, telecommunication equipment, terminals, VOIP, and wireless. Multiple Interfaces/Ports: 10SCAPE Network helps increase the accuracy of network diagrams by displaying connections to network adapters / ports, so that. Network administrators can also more clearly distinguish physical cabling connections from higher-level system and data communication paths using logical connections. Connect Without Manually Drawing Lines: Manually drawing connection lines between devices can be highly time consuming. 10SCAPE Network significantly reduces the time needed to create connections between devices by using a unique single click table. For greater accuracy, 10SCAPE Network now supports connections directly to a network adapter / port. 10SCAPE Network automatically adjusts lines and auto-arranges icons with each change. Logical Connections: Depicting how devices communicate with each other is as valuable and often even more valuable than just depicting how they are physically connected. 10SCAPE Network makes these often invisible interdependencies visible with the support of "Logical Connections". 10SCAPE Network also supports two different map types - Physical and Logical Maps, to keep maps depicting cabling and other physical networking distinct from those that illustrate data flows.
