AVS Video ReMaker Description

Among the wide variety of similar tools available, AVS Video ReMaker makes turning homemade videos into pro-looking DVDs and BDs a simple and rewarding task. It comes with all the features and utilities you need to record, edit, enhance, and correct your videos, as well as the authoring tools required to create stunning menus for your videos and to burn them to disc. The program opens in a nicely designed interface, complete with a timeline to arrange your media files and a video player to preview your material. You can load onto the main interface as many files as you wish, but on one condition: that all files are exactly the same in terms of video and audio codec, frame rate, etc. It is beyond me how such a comprehensive tool can lack the minimum conversion capabilities to allow users to put on the same disc video files from different sources and types. This is certainly a limiting factor, especially for the amateur user. Other than that, AVS Video ReMaker comes with all the bells and whistles required to produce nice-looking video discs out of your personal video collection. It includes a simple tool to add chapters to your files, either manually (in a truly interactive way) or automatically at specified intervals. You can also add transitions in between files, split large files into shorter sections, merge and cut scenes, as well as clip your video files to leave out all unwanted fragments. Once your video files look the way you wanted, you can author your DVD or Blu-ray disc and add a stylish menu using any of the menu templates available and, finally, burn them to a blank disc. Apart from using already existing video files, this video tool can also capture new video either by using your webcam or by capturing any video playing on your PC. You can also take screenshots of your desktop or capture selected frames into image files during the preview process. All in all, AVS Video ReMaker is a good choice when it comes to editing, enhancing, and burning your videos to disc easily. Due to its strict non-reconversion policy, make sure that all the video files you’ll be using to create your discs share the same technical requirements, or you won’t be able to load them together. The program supports all the most common video codecs, though, including standard and HD quality. Francisco Martínez Editor rating:
