AudioCommander Description

AudioCommander is a lightweight and straightforward application that allows users to perform audio conversions between a wide range of file formats and configure some settings in terms of frequency, channels and bitrate. It sports a clean and intuitive interface that offers quick access to selecting one of the output formats supported by the application, namely AAC, ADPCM, AIFF, AMR, A-LAW, MP3, OGG, VOX, WAV, WMA, and AU. The program comes packed with several dedicated parameters for each of the aforementioned formats. For example, you can pick frequency and channels for the AAC format, ABR and channels for MP3 items, select the bitrate and quality for the OGG files, and compress WAV files. You can add items to the list by using the “drag and drop” method or the built-in browse button. The application offers support for batch processing, which means you can add multiple files and convert them in the same time. It is possible to process all the files in the list or only the selected ones, and you can clear the entire queue. Before proceeding with the conversion process you are required to specify the saving directory. During our testing we have noticed that the program carries out a task very quickly and without errors. It also offers time estimation for completing the job. To sum things up, AudioCommander is a handy audio converter suitable for all users, regardless of their experience level.
