Auto Installer Description

Auto Installer is a useful utility for the users who need to deploy various files by using an installer-like interface. It can be used by software developers or by network administrators who need to work with multiple computers. When you need to share certain files with other computer users you can simply copy them on a storage device and transfer them on their computer. But if the transfer involves multiple files, start menu shortcuts and other items, most users can find it difficult. This tool is designed to help you provide the user with a wizard-like interface that guides them through all the required steps. It can save you a lot of time and avoid errors due to misunderstood installation instructions. In order to use the program you need to install the default package and to customize the content of the installation by adding your files and specifying the deployment parameters. It is a simple task but needs some time to get used to the required actions. You should take some time to test the package before distributing it to the other users. The application provides you with the basic distribution features such as copying the files to a location on the hard drive, creating desktop shortcuts and the ability to automatically run from a disc by using an “autorun.inf” file. You can personalize the list of created shortcuts and automatically run certain files after the installation is completed. If you need to provide additional instructions to the user you can redirect them to a website or open a local page in the default Internet browser. Although it can decently deploy your files, the program does not provide advanced features such as copying files to different locations, installing dependencies or creating registry keys. Overall, Auto Installer is a good tool for distributing simple packages by using an installation wizard. However, if you are looking for a setup creator, you need to find another solution.
