Following a simple and uneventful installation process, users can begin working with this complex application. The main screen of CT and MRI Interactive Atlas of Cross-Sectional Anatomy allows users to select the body region that they wish to further analyze, by clicking on one of the available options, namely 'Head MRI', 'Chest CT' or 'Abdominal CT'. After making their choice, users can being to analyze the medical image by selecting a preferred view mode when clicking on one of the tabs, depending on which scan they opted for. In the left-side image, users can view the full picture of the body region they are studying, while on the left, they can visualize a list of all the existing parts, that can be organized alphabetically or sequentially. When clicking on a specific element in the list, then hovering over the medical image, the previously select body part will be highlighted, enabling users to distinguish it more easily. At the same time, the 'Info' panel will display the name of the visualized part, along with a phonetic transcription in the case of the words that are more difficult to pronounce. By moving the mouse scroll wheel, users can view all sections of the scan, enabling them to displays all layers of the medical image, signaled in the lower right corner with a dotted red line, and help them identify the body parts that can be found in each one, which can vary according to the layer.
