I guess I can speak on behalf of most of us when I say that the best time of the year is around Christmas. This holiday is celebrated in all corners of the world with family dinners, plenty of gifts and carols. To keep the holiday spirit alive on your desktop, the ChristmasTree application displays a small decked tree and lets you know how many days are left until this grand celebration. This small program will light up your desktop and allow you to choose from various Christmas ornaments, like bulbs and decked trees. These decorations can be moved on any location within your desktop and you can configure the program to place the Christmas ornament on top of any window. You can also set ChristmasTree to play jingles every hour. Unfortunately, you can't play continuously or choose some other Christmas carols. More to that, I didn't like the fact that I was unable to adjust the ornament's size or change the transparency level. As for the rest, the application offered me exactly what its name said, a Christmas tree directly on my desktop, giving me a nice holiday feeling with its impressive Christmas decorations.
