CombineZM Description

Working with digital pictures often involves specialized tool that will carry out particular tasks and can provide functions that will make complex jobs more easy to accomplish. Acquiring images from various sources and combining them into varied formats is possible if you are using a tool such as CombineZM. The interface may not be as appealing as some would want it to be, but functionality is what this software is all about. The functions and commands are well structured in the application's menus, which also makes them easily accessible. With a compatible device connected, be it digital camera, scanner or webcam, you will be able to acquire images easily. More so, CombineZM is able to extract images and frames from video files and it supports a variety of formats for exporting the graphics: BMP, GIF, TIFF, JPG and PNG. A neat feature of this program is the ability to create and use macro sets. This means that certain tasks that are carried out more often can be automated and triggered with a hotkey. For those less accustomed with macros, there are some built-in sets that can be accessed from the dedicated area. Stacking images is one of the best represented features of CombineZM and there is a whole menu with commands for choosing frames, aligning and resizing them, balancing color and brightness, as well as for finding details and many more. There are also some filtering options you can tinker with and it is even possible to create and edit filters like Highpass, Lowpass, Bandpass, Bandstop and Butterworth. The input and output can also be subject to filtering. Given the wide variety of functions available in CombineZM, coupled with a relative ease of use, it's safe to say that this software is best suited for more experienced users, although beginners should get the hang of it in a rather short time.
