Your reports can be easily customized to view computers by the installed operating system, specific software application, last logged on user, and so on. The quick overview of all the important information can be viewed on the Summary Page. You can also customize this page and ask for displays of computers that have a specific software application installed, a high disk capacity, or a low amount of RAM. Clicking on the Reports tab will give you detailed information about all the hardware and software installed on the various computers and clicking on the Settings tab takes you to the settings page wherein you can customize various parameters of the reports. This software is a bipartite application with a server-side web viewer and a client-side information gatherer. The client-side program is similar to a user login script and does not occupy any space on the individual computers as it is installed not on the individual computers but on a domain computer and runs from there. However, the main benefit of the Computer Reporter is that it identifies potential problems before they plague your computer and even if a problem occurs you have detailed monthly computer information to compare and identify the problem. Hence, it not only helps you keep track of what’s on your computer but also helps you cut down the troubleshooting time by helping you identify the problem area in no time at all.
