Doc Convertor Description
Doc Convertor is an application which enables you to convert documents in several formats (including HTML, TXT, JAVA and INI) to PDF, RTF, HTML, PNG, JPG and others. The interface of the program is based on a standard window in which you can import documents by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is allowed. So, you can check out the source file and result, change the foreground and background color, set text attributes, specify the output destination and name, and initiate the conversion process. In addition, you can use the undo, redo functions (along with 'search and replace'), change the display settings (e.g. editor gutter, margin and color), as well as configure various editor options (e.g. keep trailing blanks, overwrite blocks, disable dragging, find text at cursor, group undo). Furthermore, you can enable Doc Convertor to start minimized, set an activation and convert clipboard hotkey, write the PDF image page width and height, assign export code keyboard shortcuts, and others. The lightweight tool runs on a very small amount of system resources and quickly finishes a conversion task. The text layout is well preserved in the output files. No errors have popped up during our tests and Doc Convertor did not freeze or crash. On the other hand, there is no help file available and the interface is pretty outdated. But the main issue here is that Doc Convertor only supports text-based documents. So, it cannot convert images or tables, for instance. We recommend Doc Convertor with reservations.
