EGBrowse Description

EGBrowse application was designed to be a fully featured dBase browser, and file creator. EGBrowse can open any dBase file, look at, export and import Memo fields, sum columns, be indexed on any column or on very complex dBase native language expressions. You can also use the same tens of dBase functions to filter the file. EGBrowse includes textual help that explains all of the usable dBase commands and functions that are understood, along with examples. EGBrowse is a normal, modern 32 bit application with a main menu and a lot of speed buttons. You can configure it so that it remembers the last status of each dBase file. For example, if you left your Contacts.Dbf in Quick Search mode, indexed on Last Name, and saved this config, then the next time you open it and want to look for Gilboa, just run the program and type GIL and there you are! EGBrowse can also be command line driven, and the full explanation is included in the help.
