Born on 21 January 1976 in Finchley, London Emma Lee Bunton began her singing career in 1994 when she joined the band the Spice Girls. The band released its first album Spice in 1996 with huge success and followed it with Spiceworld in 1997 and Forever in 2000 the band was a huge success and has sold over 35 million albums. In 1999 Bunton hosted her own music show on VH1 called Emma and after the band split Bunton began a solo career. In 2001 released her first album A Girl Like Me the album sold approximately 125,000 copies in the UK. Bunton's second album Free Me was released in 2004 and enjoyed more success, whereas her third album called Life in Mono and released in 2006 was not that well received..
