Floodlight Manager Description

From Floodlight Software : Floodlight Manager is a project management, business management, task assignment, document management, and team collaboration package. Create "projects" ranging from quick reminders to jobs that will be actively worked on by a large team for years to come. By allowing a supervisor to see when and how jobs they are responsible for are updated, they can keep tabs on jobs in progress and correct problems before they become catastrophes. Floodlight Manager greatly improves accountability. Nearly all changes made to a project are logged. Managers can go back and track when updates are viewed by whom and when custom field values are changed, as well as almost any other project update. Every project created is accessible and can be updated, even after completion, allowing projects to be re-opened, and historical data to be accessed with powerful searches and reports. Schedule projects with Gantt charts, track progress with integrated checklists, and make changes to hundreds or thousands of projects at once by exporting reports to and importing from Microsoft Excel. Just create a new project, choose who will work on it, assign it, and get to work. With fine-grained permissions and roles, you can choose who will be notified of which events (for example, certain users can be notified only when the project is turned in for evaluation, while other users will see every note, status change, and document attachment) and who will be able to evaluate when the job is done. Jobs assigned to you appear in your Work List. When an update is made that you are assigned to see, the project will be added to your Work List (even if it's not normally on your Work List) in either pink, indicating a normal update, or yellow, indicating an emergency on the job that needs attention immediately.
