Kestrel GX Description
Kestrel GX is a photo editor and organizer that supports more than 20 image formats, such as as TIFF, GIF, JPG, PCX, BMP, ICO, CUR, PNG, WMF, EMF, TGS, PXM, JP2, J2K, WBMP, PS or PDF, as well as several digital camera RAWs. This application is packed with a handy toolset and plenty of features that will allow you to create images just like a professional photographer. It also offers you the possibility to tag your images, so as to afterward find them more easily. Kestrel GX offers support to create multiple image galleries, e.g. nature photography, medical photography, abstract photography and so on. Once you create the image gallery, you will be able to easily add images to it. Moreover, users are allowed to create their own templates and watermarks (both image and text), which can be later used on other image galleries. Kestrel GX also comes with various pre-defined tags, watermarks and templates. Kestrel GX offers you the possibility to create PDF books which can later be shared with friends. Besides this, Kestrel GX allows you to use an external photo-editing application, such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. You will be able to easily customize your photos before adding them to galleries. If you have difficulties finding an image that you edited at a certain point, this application provides you with three different searching options: by author, by keywords or by date. Moreover, Kestrel GX is able to read EXIF, IPTC or GPS information from your pictures, and transfer it into a text file.
