Although it is better to use a real MIDI keyboard, you can use your standard QWERTY computer keyboard to compose the music that will go over the accompaniment. You can also go up an down an octave to better suit your needs. These are only the basic steps. The program offers much more options, and if you are a musician, you can take advantage of all of them.
