Pixel Gfx Editor Description

Pixel Gfx Editor is a simple pixel graphics editor which can help you in Sprite development. This software utility is portable, meaning you can easily use it on any computer you have access to, without needing to install it. You can copy the program files on any location on the hard disk, and even to a portable storage unit, such as a USB flash drive and just double-click the EXE file in order to run Pixel Gfx Editor. You might also be interested to know that the Windows registry and Start menu/screen are not going to get updated with new entries. The interface has a minimal design and it contains a few editing tools. For example, you can use a pen, draw lines, circles and rectangles, choose colors for right and left click, as well as erase everything drawn in the window. You can make use of an eyedropper and toggle a grid over the editor area. The app also includes twelve frames you can choose between and edit separately. Each of the aforementioned tools has a keyboard shortcut. However, the fact that the hotkeys are not customizable is considered to be a small drawback. All drawings can be saved to the hard drive in a BMP file format, only it is not possible to input the path. By default, all the items go in the same location as the program, which is considered to be a minor setback. All in all, Pixel Gfx Editor is a simple piece of software, which can be quite useful, with minimal CPU and low memory usage. However, the interface requires a little more work.
