PlasWin Description

PlasWin is an easy to use, PC based application that combines the most frequently used injection mold design requirements. The program has been structured in such a way that it offers an affordable, and more practicle alternative to expensive CAD packages. PlasWin allows the user to calculate: - Part Cooling - Wall Thickness, - Cooling Channel, - Gate Size, - Injection Time, - Pillar Spacing, - Runner Size & - Core Design. What's new in this version: Release 5.3 contains extensions to the material profile, to include the maximum Shear rate for the various Plastics. The Gate design forms have been modified to take advantage of the above change, so that the calculations can be performed for selected Plastics via a Pull-down menu.
