PlayPad Description

PlayPad is a very light-weight music player for Windows. The player supports most formats out there and is very light and fast. The download file is a little over 200 kilobytes in size. Installation takes less than 5 seconds and the application can play files very well out-of-the-box. It has playlist support, so you can add your files to any of the built-in playlists or you can create new ones. The included playlists show the recently added files, the recently played files and the ones that you have played most of all. You can also add songs to your favorites. There is also a search function with the help of which you can find any song by any word in the file name or song name, artist, album name, etc. I like that this player supports drag-and-drop, which is a very easy way to add songs to the playlists. There are a few controls on the screen for controlling audio playback. Of course, you will see the play/pause buttons, but there are also buttons for shuffling songs and repeating them. All in all, the player works quite well and is very fast. The only problem that I found is that if you are playing a song and you click on any of the playlists, the song will stop playing, so you have to go back to the playlist containing it and click on play again.
