Poll Manager Description

Poll MANAGER is a utility that consists of 3 programs. It's used to realize polls in a local area network (LAN). With the administration program, the polls are recorded with different possibilities of answering (Multiple Choice, value or text). The polls may be assigned to different groups of recipients and the Validity dates 'from' and 'until' can be set. The administration program also creates the evaluation of the results of the polls and serves to configure the whole system. The server program assumes the task to send the polls to the work stations and to receive the Answers. This is done by TCP/IP communication. On the work stations, the poll program is normally started automatically over Autostart and runs in the background. The program receives the polls form the server and pops them up automatically. The answers are sent to the server. Poll Manager warrants absolute anonymity of the answers. Nobody can see who did answer which poll in which way. Poll Manager has got a user administration based on the user names for Windows login. The programs are installed in a shared directory on the LAN and from where all programs are started. Poll Manager Poll Manager ships with a complete manual and an installation program. The demo version is limited to two users.
