This concept has been integrated in many computer applications which are used to insert custom colors in various segments of the drawing. The applications can be used for professional purposes in which the segments can range to thousands of segments with customized color palettes for every segment. This concept has been forwarded into SegPlayPC v.1.7 which uses an advanced Segmentation Technology processing for coloring drawings belonging to various categories. SegPlayPC by SegTech is a popular shareware application which uses the concept of ‘paint by numbers’ for coloring drawings. The Segmentation Technology used in the application is the main technology behind the concept of ‘paint by numbers’ which enables the designers to divide the whole drawing into various numbered segments for filling in the colors which can save time on coloring by mouse or drawing pad. This program contains about 20 images belonging to categories like modern art, classic images and photography images with different complexity levels so that the images can be segmented into over 2000 divisions. The drawings are completely customizable with standard or full screen resolution, along with the provisions for zooming in & out and panning of images, adjusting their color and transparency, changing the backgrounds, saving the drawings and printing them. The application comes with advanced gaming options like timer, speed painting tools, mistake counter and element tracking.
