It is a comprehensive software development kit designed to provide assistance to developers, enabling them to put their ideas into practice. Intended for the Java ME Platform, Sony Ericsson SDK requires Java SE Development Kit to be installed on your system, along with DirectX. It is capable of ensure forward compatibility between platform editions, supporting a wide range of phone models, including Symbian and non-Symbian devices. The comprehensive documentation that can help you understand how to use the SDK in order to create, debug and test apps on your mobile device, providing clear instructions on how to initiate a connection and use the development tools. Before starting, you must make sure that the 'Developer Mode' is activated on your mobile handset and find out what Java version your phone supports. Once the device is connected to the PC and the USB drivers are installed on the computer, you must use the 'Connection Proxy' to create a communication 'bridge' between the PC and the phone.
