Soul Force! Description

Soul Force! was developed to be a fairly standard waveshaping distortion plugin, made more interesting through the use of feedback to control the shaping. Setting the Source switch to Env and turning up the Feedback uses the amplitude envelope of the input signal to control the shaping of the distortion, resulting in a kind of gating effect. Switching the Source switch to Wave means the shaping is controlled by the instantaneous output of the plugin, resulting in a harsh, abrasive kind of distortion. You should note that the shape control also does act as a volume booster at certain settings.
