TOPCAT Full Description

TOPCAT Full is a more complete version of the TOMCAT Lite application that aims to help the astronomers analyze images stored as FITS files. The FITS format saves the image data in a tabular format in order to be used by other non-astronomical applications. You can use the program to open multiple file formats such as FITS or VOTable. The analysis features include 3D graph plotting, statistics calculations and table joining. The program does not require an Internet connection but it can use it to work with other tools from the VO world. The Full version allows you to browse the hierarchy in a tree-view and and includes a SoG image viewer. Also, it allows you to use MySpace and SRB remote file browsing for table load or save.
