WHO AnthroPlus Description

video prev next WHO AnthroPlus is an advanced application that helps you keep track of the children's growth by giving you free access to three handy tools: Anthropometric calculator, Individual assessment and Nutritional survey. This program will provide you a fast and easy way to store and evaluate detailed information regarding the growth of children between 5 and 19 years old. The interface is easy-to-use and intuitive as it consists of three main buttons for the following tools: Anthropometric calculator, Individual assessment and Nutritional survey. You will be able to customize its appearance by enabling the "Enter" key for moving focus to the next control, disabling mouse wheel and arrow keys for numeric up/down controls, changing the language. Anthropometric calculator allows you to determine the nutritional status of each patient between 5 and 19 years old by simply entering personal details, such as age, sex, weight and height. This tool will provide you fast and accurate results that can either be printed or used eventually on a nutritional survey. Another handy utility that might be of use in gathering research material is the Individual assessment. You will also be able to generate detailed reports for each child, manage miscellaneous data (fruits and vegetables portions / per day, blood pressure, etc.) and many other. Finally, the Nutritional survey will help you build elaborated surveys containing children medical records with the z-scores (standard parameters) for 0-5 and 5-19 years old patients; though, in order to have access to the study's results, you will need to enter at least 12 different and valid records into the survey. An advantage of using this application is the fact that you can optimize the program's performance by enabling the caching for the anthropometric reference data tables into memory. To sum it all up, WHO AnthroPlus is a handy application that can be used to keep you informed about the growth of children between the age of 5 and 19. Ashley Griggs Editor rating:
