Agent Trojan Cleaner is a tiny and portable piece of software which is capable of removing the Win32.Agent trojan from your computer and its variants, namely Win32.Agent.AN, Win32.Agent.BQ and Win32.Agent.NAB. It is simple to deal with, even by users with minimal background in antivirus systems. Since there is no setup pack included, you can just drop the executable file anywhere on the hard drive and run it immediately. There is also the possibility of moving Agent Trojan Cleaner to a USB flash drive or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any workstation with minimum effort. What's important to know is that the Windows Registry section does not get new updates, and leftovers are not kept on the hard disk after removing the tool. The interface of the application is based on a standard window with a plain and simple layout, where you can select the drive you want to scan (or all fixed drives). Agent Trojan Cleaner notifies you that, in order for it to work properly, you should exit any real-time scanner that might be active at the moment. The scanning procedure reveals a list of infected files, and you can select whichever you want to eliminate from the system, with one click of the mouse button. A system reboot is required to apply the new changes and declutter data from your PC. Agent Trojan Cleaner barely uses CPU and system memory, so it shouldn't put a strain on the computer's overall performance. It has a good response time and may take a while to complete a scan and clean job, depending on the size of your hard drive.
