Using the Free Sound Recorder you can create good quality of recording and save recorded files in popular audio file formats such as MP3, WMA or WAV. You can preset/preview your audio recording device before starting recording. You also need to make sure that all your connections are done and desired sound quality in the sound recorder settings window is done. You can set values of MP3, WMA and WAV. For MP3, you can set preset quality. Use preset quality slider to choose from several levels of quality and resultant file sizes; higher the quality, the larger the file size. For WAV format you have an option to select CD quality or specify setting by defining sample rate and bits per sample. With General option you can set output file format as WAV, MP3 or WMA. Select recording mode from the available options as Analog, Linear, Normal, Fire, Glass and Kryptonite. Define output directory to save audio recorded file.
