Preset to Excel Description

The Preset to Excel application was designed to be a smll tool that converts the presets of a VST Plugin either to Excel, CSV, RTF, HTML or plain text. This tool doesn't have any explicit user interface. Instead it does only show a sequence of typical open/save dialogs to select the desired files. Alternatively you may use the command line. Here you can not only specify the VST DLL filename and the output filename, but also additionally any preset or bank file with the extension (.fxp and .fxb). Please use it as follow Preset2Excel.exe VSTPlugin.DLL Output.XLS Preset.FXP All parameters of all programs are scanned and converted as good as possible. Depending on the ratio parameters/programs the one with the longest number of items is displayed in columns, while the other is displayed in rows.
