Editor's review: This is a pre-designed photo show gallery. XML Cross Photo Gallery is a fully customizable photo gallery. It could be easily integrated into your projects or website. There are enough customizable parameters, more than 50, in fact, to let the show be completely customized. All these parameter values can be set through the XML configuration file. You could use flashvars too for the purpose. The overall effect of the show is quite attractive. It is the complete full screen display in black, and the targets outlined in that display area, and their overall effect raises your curiosity. What pleasantly surprises you, is the way four photographs related to the category/target opens up on four sides of the target in a cross like fashion. As you move across the categories, photographs close on the one you left and the new cross opens. The colors look brilliant in the black background. The selected target lights up in a light green color. Overall, such a show is bound to increase the stickiness of a visitor at your site. To customize this experience, there are several things you can tweak. These include the animation time, image width and height that can be adjusted, corners of the photographs (square, rounded or ellipse shaped), photo descriptions in HTML, the normal and the moused over state and so on. You can use an unlimited number of photographs. ActionScript used is the version 3.0, and you could even customize that for sophisticated animation.
