Bluebian is an open source Linux operating system for the Raspberry Pi single board minimalist computer, based off of the famous Raspbian Linux distribution, which in turn is based on the Debian GNU/Linux operating system. When compared with Raspbian, the Bluebian distribution is specifically designed to provide a sleeker interface and less annoying applications. It also uses the lightweight Xfce as its main desktop environment. Just like any other Raspberry Pi Linux distribution, Bluebian is distributed as a zip archive that can be easily and quickly deployed on a USB flash drive and plugged into a Raspberry Pi device.
