BakAndImgCD Description
BakAndImgCD is a free, open source and small Linux-based operating system, designed especially for data backup and disk imaging tasks. While the data backup feature of BakAndImgCD supports the following filesystems: Btrfs, EXT2, EXT3, EXT4, ReiserFS, XFS, HFS, HFS+, FAT, NTFS, JFS, and Minix, the disk imaging function uses Partclone, Partimage, and GNU ddrescue. The output files (either archives or images) can be optionally compressed and automatically uploaded to a remote FTP sever via Dial-up, Wi-Fi or Ethernet interfaces. Being based on the 4MLinux Backup Scripts 7.0, BakAndImgCD is fully compatible with the UNetbootin application. It is distributed as a Live CD ISO image supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.
